Pietrus Celtics' Hospitalized After Fall: Boston Celtics swingman Mickael Pietrus was to remain in hospital overnight after being wheeled off the field on a stretcher during a game in Philadelphia on Friday after a fall.

Pietrus had an MRI after the X-ray and CT scan and the Celtics said that closed head injury dubious - that is, it does not bleed, and they do not believe that it is yet.

Then he fell in the second quarter, after crossing the road when the 76ers guard Lou Williams received a piece of the ball, holding Pietrus.

Despite his back hit the ground, immediately grabbed the back of the head Pietrus neck. He held his head fell to the ground, but he said little.

Pietrus was on the ground for a while, before settling on a stretcher and lifted up, then was taken to hospital.

Pietrus missed the first two and a half weeks of the season after undergoing surgery on his right knee. He entered the game on Friday averaged 6.9 points and 3.0 rebounds this season.

Sixers rallied in the second half to win the game, 99-86.
