Research, evidently, the first of its kind, used data from the Google web browser map models on Monday, before and after the summer kicks in. Results were published in the February 27 "online first" edition of Journal of Applied Psychology, which precedes the print edition.

Given that nearly one-third of the world is involved in some form of daylight saving time, studies show loss of productivity to a great job, especially in light of the proliferation of knowledge-based Internet.

Energy savings from daylight saving time is negligible, according to the California Energy Commission, therefore, in 2001, California seeks, but still have to get approval by the U.S. Congress allowed until the end of the summer and stay for the winter.
